KYLIE INDUSTRY / LABELS & HANGTAGS

LABELS & HANGTAGS.

Custom clothing labels and hangtags identify your brand and communicate product information. Separate the brand mark, size label, care information and retail hangtag in your brief. Kylie Industry can discuss these components with your garment project; final wording and destination requirements must be confirmed before label artwork is released.

BUILD A CLEAR SPECIFICATION

01

Separate the label components

List each label’s purpose, dimensions, material direction, fold and attachment point. A brand neck label, side-seam care label and hangtag need different construction details. Consider skin contact and visibility. Use the label designer to communicate an initial direction, then confirm the physical component on the garment sample.

02

Assign ownership of label wording

Provide approved brand spelling, size system, fibre information and proposed care text. Identify who checks required destination information and translations. Do not substitute a template for a review of the actual product and market requirements. Keep the approved wording revision attached to the style and material specification.

03

Review placement and packing data

Check readability, stitching, label edges and attachment strength on the sample. For hangtags, define holes, ties, barcode ownership and whether price or style information changes by variant. Compare the label size with the garment and outer packing records so the same unit is identified consistently throughout the order.

Questions before sampling.

Does the label designer approve my final care label?

No. It creates a draft for discussion. Final wording, care instructions, material information and destination requirements need review against the actual garment before production approval.

What should I send for a project quote?

Send your labels & hangtags brief, reference files and unresolved questions, together with garment styles, quantities per colour, size breakdown, destination and target date. Ask Kylie Industry to confirm feasibility, sampling, minimums, pricing and the agreed production scope.
