DEVELOP YOUR BRIEF

Use dates. Define the season.

Replace a vague seasonal deadline with the month and date the garments need to arrive. Describe the intended use and fabric weight instead of leaving terms such as summer-weight or heavyweight open to interpretation. Separate your sample deadline from your bulk-delivery target.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Australia FAQs.

SEARCH ALL ANSWERS ↗
How should I describe the season for my Australian collection?

Give an actual launch date and required arrival date, then describe how and where the garments will be worn. Include your preferred fabric weight and composition so the material discussion does not depend on the season name alone.

What care-label information should I prepare?

Include proposed care-label artwork and ask for it to be checked against the final fabric, decoration and sample. Use the linked ACCC guidance when reviewing the format required for your product.

Is shipping to Australia included in the garment price?

Ask for the quotation to identify garment costs and shipping separately, together with the delivery destination and agreed responsibilities. Freight, import charges and timing should not be assumed from a garment price alone.
