Clothing packaging planning defines how each garment is identified, protected and grouped for dispatch. Prepare packing instructions alongside the garment specification, especially when one order includes multiple styles, colours and sizes. Kylie Industry can discuss the proposed scope and costs before the packing reference is approved.

State the folding method, label visibility and preferred individual pack. Identify inserts, hangtags and any variant-specific information. Ask whether your proposed material and dimensions suit the garment. Review a packed sample rather than assuming a photograph proves the final pack size or presentation.
02
Plan the carton breakdown
Choose whether cartons separate styles, colours and sizes or contain an agreed assortment. Define a carton identifier and the contents fields required on the packing list. Ensure totals reconcile with the approved quantity breakdown. Provide any receiving instructions from your warehouse before final packing is agreed.
03
Clarify shipping quote inputs
Ask for packed carton dimensions, gross weight and quantity when available, with the assumptions used for the freight quote. Confirm which party handles transport, clearance and charges. A garment unit price does not by itself establish a delivered cost. Review packing changes that could affect freight before dispatch.
Questions before sampling.
Are branded bags and hangtags automatically included?
Do not assume they are included. State every required packaging component and ask the quote to identify its cost, quantity and approval scope. Confirm any setup charges and who supplies the artwork or variable product data.
What should I send for a project quote?
Send your packaging & packing brief, reference files and unresolved questions, together with garment styles, quantities per colour, size breakdown, destination and target date. Ask Kylie Industry to confirm feasibility, sampling, minimums, pricing and the agreed production scope.
