DEFINE THE BRIEF
Define the garment and its intended use.
Start with the layers the windbreaker will be worn over, then specify chest, shoulder, sleeve and body measurements. Mark the hood or collar shape, hem adjustment and cuff finish. For a set, provide a separate measurement sheet and quantity breakdown for the trousers.
Describe the shell feel, composition and weight, and identify whether a lining is required. If you want to make a weather-protection claim, state the claim and ask what material and assembled-garment evidence is available. A design image does not establish water resistance or waterproof performance.

List the front, pocket and trouser zips separately. Record opening function, length, pull type and colour; show any two-way opening you want reviewed.
Artwork & matching sets.
Mark graphic positions around pockets and seams. For a coordinated set, identify the details that must match and approve both garments together.
SAMPLE REVIEW

Try the sample over the intended layers. Operate the front and pocket zips, adjust the hood or hem, and check that the lining or facing does not catch.
Review movement, pocket access and fit alongside measurements. Keep fastening approval separate from any agreed material or weather-protection testing.

Can I develop a matching jacket and trouser set?
Send separate drawings, measurement sheets and quantities for each garment. Identify the fabric, colours and branding that should match, then review both pieces together at sampling.
Does a windbreaker automatically count as waterproof?
No. Agree the exact performance claim and the evidence needed for the final materials and garment construction. No waterproof rating is promised for a design concept.
How long do samples and bulk production take?
Typical sample development takes about one week, and bulk production takes 25–30 days. Confirm the start date, revisions and approval milestones for your project. Shipping transit time is quoted separately.
What are the minimum quantity and sample price?
These depend on the garment, fabric, decoration and quantities per style and colour. Send the size breakdown and destination for an itemised quote covering samples, production, labels, packing and delivery.
